Links to Resources on the Web
* Visit RHI Management Resources' web site. Read through the management resources that are included in the "Executive Outlook" and select one topic that is of particular interest to you. Summarize the article and share with the class how you might use this information in your professional life.

* Go to Monster or another web site where job postings are listed. Then conduct a search for jobs that include the key words "interpersonal communication skills" (you might want to limit your search to "same day"). How many hits did you find? Were you surprised by the diversity of jobs that included this qualification as part of their job description? What do the results of your search tell you about how employers value interpersonal communication skills?

* Visit http://www.workingwoman.com/list.shtml and check out the top 100 best companies for working women who have children. What value do you think these companies place on task and social dimensions of work? What value do you think outstanding companies place on interpersonal communication in the workplace?
